HR Assistant (Vancouver/Lower Mainland)

Responsibilities

K-Bro Linen Systems has been a Canadian leader in laundry and linen services since 1954. We are currently seeking a Full-Time HR Assistant to work at our production facilities located at #401-8340 Fraser Reach Court and 8035 Enterprise Street in Burnaby, BC.

  • Assist HR Managers in day-to-day HR functions
  • Maintain both hard and digital copies of employee records
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Assist with recruitment activities and processes
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Update records of new and existing employees
  • Assist with adhoc HR projects and support general office administration
  • Assist with general communication (phone, emails, and in person) with staff
  • Perform other assigned tasks as requested by senior management
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR and employee data
  • Provide support for other office administration duties including reception coverage as needed

 

 

Job Skills Required

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business or relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external parties
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Enjoy working in fast-paced environment
